Researcher, Writer, Creator
I'm a sociologist of technology and currently a Ph.D. candidate at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Some organizations I've worked with include youthSpark, the National Center for Civil and Human Rights, and Swanee Hunt Alternatives, I specialize in qualitative and archival research, diversity and inclusion initiatives, grant writing, and strategic consulting.
My research has been funded by the American Council of Learned Societies and the Georgia Tech Research Institute. It has also been featured in Vice's Broadly, Stuff Mom Never Told You, Kotaku, as well as academic outlets such as Theoretical Criminology, Criminal Justice Studies, and University of Minnesota Press.
I'm committed to making scholarship public and accessible. I create sociological 'zines, and revive forgotten objects, like the Victorian-era board game Suffragetto.
